Dr. Lindsey McConnel

Dr. Lindsey McConnel

Veterinarian

Dr. Lindsey McConnel is originally from Wyoming and moved to the Palouse area in 2017. She obtained her undergraduate degrees at Casper College and University of Wyoming and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Colorado State University with an interest in rural mixed animal medicine. While growing up she was active in 4-H and FFA along with keeping busy working on the family cattle ranch in Wyoming where her love of veterinary medicine bloomed. Dr. McConnel treats both small and large animals with a passion for livestock and small animal surgery. She enjoys educating her clients while creating a veterinary-client-patient relationship to ensure trust in the treatment plan or herd health plan that is created.

When not in clinic, Dr. McConnel can be seen volunteering and enjoying the outdoors with her husband and their numerous animals — dogs (Cowboy, Millie, and Hank), cats (Sir Purr and Mr. Pounce), chickens, cows, etc. Along with spending time in Wyoming helping on the family’s cattle ranch and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. McKinley is a native Idahoan from the outskirts of Middleton, Idaho. She completed her undergraduate degree at Boise State University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Washington State University. Animals have always been an influential part of her life, and she is excited to have the privilege of continuing to nurture the human-animal bond as a veterinarian. Dr. McKinley is also passionate about integrative medicine. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). Dr. McKinley strives to provide the most personalized and well-rounded care for her patients, whether that be strictly conventional medicine or incorporation of integrative medicine modalities, like acupuncture. Dr. McKinley’s goal is to help her patients live as happy and healthy as possible. When not in the clinic, Dr. McKinley can often be found on outdoor adventures with her husband, Jamison, and their four dogs. Her hobbies include hiking, kayaking/paddleboarding, snowshoeing, archery, disc golf, yoga, recreational sports, and playing the tuba.
